DOI FieldCom (IDIQ) Mission Critical Communications Systems Engineering Services

The Field Communications (FieldCom) contract is a multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle specifically designed as the preferred source of field communications products and professional services for the U.S. Department of the Interior and is available for use by other federal agencies through the DOI’s Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD).
FieldCom provides engineering support for government field communications systems, support for the management of the system lifecycle, and access to commercial field communications solutions including:
- Land Mobile Radio (Analog, Digital, P25)
- Broadband Wireless Communications (FirstNet)
- Dispatch Systems
- Radio over IP/LAN/WAN Integration
- Satellite Communications
- Microwave/Telemetry
The FieldCom contract is “mandatory for consideration” for all DOI Field Communications requirements and has a 5-year base ordering period from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2023 with two option years extending to September 30, 2025.
